This is not an instructor facilitated course; however, support will be provided through email, online forms, and phone.

Prerequisites:

You must be 18 years or older to take the Sport Nutrition Specialist Exam. You can register for the Sport Nutrition Specialist Exam at any time with the NCSF. Once registered for the exam, you will be provided a unique eligibility code, which allows you to schedule an exam for a date, time, and location of your choice. You must meet at least one of the following requirements to be eligible to take the exam:

  • Hold a current NCSF certification, or
  • A current NCCA-accredited fitness professional certification, or
  • A college degree (Associate's or higher), or
  • REPs Level 3 or higher credential (individuals outside the US and Canada)

  • This course can be taken on either a PC or Mac.

  • PC: Windows 8 or later.

This course is self-paced and open enrollment, so you can start when you want and finish at your own pace. When you register, you'll receive six (6) months to complete the course.

The time allotted for course completion has been calculated based on the number of course hours. However, if you are unable to complete the course, contact the student advising team to see what options you may have available to work out a suitable completion date. Please note that an extension fee may be charged.
