You should have already completed Preston Bailey's Fundamentals of Floral Design 1 before enrolling in this course.


Hardware Requirements:

  • This course can be taken on either a PC or Mac.

Software Requirements:

  • PC: Windows 8 or later.
  • Mac: macOS 10.6 or later.
  • Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.
  • Microsoft Word (not included in enrollment).
  • Skype is recommended but not required.
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.

  • You are required to source local flowers and other floral arrangement supplies to complete assignments (not included in enrollment).

The instructional materials required for this course are included in enrollment and will be available online.

These professionals can also be referred to as florists. They work in a retail environment to serve customers needing an arrangement. Normally, their schedule is centered around regular business hours, but they might work longer if they work in a grocery store, for example.


This course is self-paced and open enrollment, so you can start when you want and finish at your own pace. When you register, you'll receive six (6) months to complete the course.
